Leighna Fischer is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and one of the Regional Clinical Directors of Behavior Analysis at GBC. Leighna graduated from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She has been working as a BCBA for over 10 years and has been working in the field of ABA directly supporting individuals diagnosed with autism and their families for over 15 years and has been supervising and training behavior technicians and BCBA’s for over 8 years.
At GBC, Leighna effectively oversees a team of Behavior Technicians and Behavior Analysts in a variety of settings, including home, clinic, and community settings throughout the Chicagoland area. Leighna’s passions in the field are providing and teaching early intervention skills, social skills training, perspective taking skills, teaching the development of functional communication skills, and teaching emotional regulation and coping skills across all age ranges. Leighna describes herself as fun-loving and a Chicago Bears enthusiast.
